A challenging year on the pitch.
We competed in the Eastern Counties Greene King Division Two West. It was a higher standard than the leagues we competed in previously with many very good teams. A combination of stiffer competition and seriously bad luck on the injury front meant that we struggled to win games (although some were frustratingly close). However, despite the difficulties we received bonus points for scoring four tries or more five occasions and on three occasions for losing by seven points or fewer. We finished 7th out of nine – a platform from which to build for next season.

And finally we were delighted to be awarded the Whistler Trophy by the referees as their favourite club to visit. This is an award we have won regularly in recent years and one which we are very proud to receive.
